Bring the wisdom of Modern Buddhism wherever you go
The Modern Buddhism meditation app was created by The New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU)
The NKT was founded by the fully qualified meditation master and author Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 1991 to offer the practical wisdom of Kadampa Buddhism to the people of our modern world.
Through his extraordinary vision in establishing Buddhist centres and Temples, creating study programs and writing 23 authoritative books on all aspects of Buddhist practice, he dedicated his life to presenting the wisdom and compassion of Buddha’s teachings in practical ways that everyone can use in their daily lives to solve their problems and enjoy greater peace and happiness.
The temple is full of dedicated practitioners from around the world meditating in two final sessions on deepening our mind of compassion until it transforms into the compassion of a Buddha. In this way we awaken our Buddha nature – wishing to attain Enlightenment for all living beings.
